Human Resources Manager ( Ref: HRM/02)
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Key Responsibilities
• Leading and managing the HR function of Wartsila Nigeria and in close collaboration with Wartsila Services global HR network to achieve quality of service and reliable performance
• Ensuring HRM policies and procedures are in place in accordance with Labour Laws
• Effectively directing manpower planning, recruitment and retention working closely with hiring managers
• Design and Delivery of learning and development programs
Qualification and Experience Required
• Degree in the Humanities or relevant discipline from a reputable University
• Minimum of 3 years experience with increased responsibilities in Human resources Management preferably with a Global company
• Proven experience in manpower planning, recruiting and effective selection
• Experience in organisational and employee development with commitment to continuous learning and competency management
• Excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills
• Fluent French (spoken/written) is a plus
• Ability to motivate others and continuously improve systems and processes
• Knowledge of Labour Laws and Employee Relationship Management
• Ability to provide strategic advice and input to Senior and Executive Management
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
• Excellent team leadership skills
