R.T. Briscoe Nigeria Limited was incorporated in Nigerian since 1957, the Company has witnessed tremendous growth and has diversified its area of operations to include the sales and service of motor vehicles and technical equipment. It's portfolio includes the marketing, sales and service dealership of Toyota vehicles, Volvo cars, Ford Motors, etc in Nigeria.

We have vacancies in the following positions:

Job Title: Company Treasurer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash balances and trading in the financial markets.
• Ensure that a company’s cash flow is adequate to allow it to operate effectively.
• Forecast cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow.
• Undertake risk management activities to protect a company’s financial well-being,
• Analyze the impact of financial markets on the performance of products or services.
• Make decisions on company finances, for example, the funding of company operations.
• Evaluate financial impact of new business ventures.
• Negotiate loan and overdraft terms with company’s bankers.
• Create solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial/ treasury knowledge.
• Liaise with other departments, such as tax and accountancy, on a range of issues.
• Provide advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole.
• Liaise with bankers and investors and maintain positive working relationships.
• Keep up to date with financial and industry developments.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or equivalent.
• An MBA is an added advantage.
• ACA or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, for liaising with senior management operational staff, and company bankers and investors.
• Strong numeracy, analytical skills and IT literacy.
• An interest in the financial markets and how they operate.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, for dealing with company funds and managing substantial contracts and capital projects.
